Breathwise (“the App”) is developed and operated by Maximilian Schmidt (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Breathwise is designed to function with minimal data collection. We collect only the information necessary to provide the App’s core features and manage your subscription.
Account information. If you create an account, we may store a user identifier and email address to manage your profile and subscription status.
Subscription data. When you subscribe to Breathwise Premium, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). We receive only a transaction confirmation and subscription status from Apple.
Locally stored data. Breathing session data and app preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
We use the limited information we collect to operate and improve the App, manage your subscription and account, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may only be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete the App or use the “Delete account and all data” feature within the App’s settings. When you request account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.
Breathwise is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete all your data at any time using the in-app deletion feature, or by contacting us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
